Virtue is a design-led lifestyle brand and creative studio, born in Lisbon and now based in London. We create homeware, textiles and functional objects with a sharp eye, a strong point of view and a sense of humour that refuses to behave.

Our work sits somewhere between craftsmanship and satire, where beautiful things are allowed to be useful, clever and occasionally ridiculous. We believe everyday objects should do more than sit politely in the corner.

Every Virtue piece begins in-house, from the first sketch to the final product. We design across homeware, textiles, table linens, bags, pouches, illustrated objects and bespoke collections, always with the same intention: to make products that feel considered, distinctive and slightly unwilling to blend in.

Our collections are designed between London and Lisbon, and produced with trusted partners in Portugal and abroad. Some pieces are handmade, some are produced in small runs and all are created with attention to material, finish and the strange little details that make an object worth keeping.

Virtue takes design seriously, but never itself. We are drawn to the absurdities of modern life, consumer culture and the endless performance of good taste. Our products are made for people who appreciate quality, but do not need their tea towel to come with a manifesto and a tiny violin.

A blanket can be beautifully made and still have a personality. A tote bag can carry groceries, questionable decisions and a minor identity crisis. A sardine keychain can, against all odds, become a lifestyle choice.
