About Virtue
Virtue is an independent design brand born in Lisbon, now based in London, with South African roots and a weakness for beautiful things that refuse to behave.
We create original artwork and turn it into useful objects for home and everyday life: textiles, table pieces, bags, accessories, stationery and more. Everything starts with an idea and is developed with craftsmanship, character and a sense of humour.
Designed in-house
Every Virtue collection begins with our own artwork. We draw, paint, build patterns and develop products from the ground up rather than decorating blanks with whatever happens to be trending.
Made to be used
We are not interested in precious design for precious rooms. We like things that earn their place: a blanket you fight over, a tea towel you actually use and a tote that carries too much while still looking good doing it.
Made with people we trust
We work with skilled production partners in Portugal and further afield, choosing the right maker for the material, process and product. The result is a collection that feels considered but never overly serious.
Good design, good making and a raised eyebrow. That is Virtue.
